I've just corrected the mistake and do hope that there are no further typos ;) The thing with a broken package your are talking about might also result from that typo. I've already been thinking about a possible googlecode-project to revive TP Fan Control or at least to make sure that it works with modern distros, but at the moment I'm really lacking spare time.
